In the heart of Santa Maria in Val Müstair, we have completed the renovation and furnishing of a historic house dating back to the 16th century.
The project involved a sensitive refurbishment of the property, including the restoration and reinstallation of original timber floors, the addition of new staircase handrails, and the upgrading of sanitary and electrical installations, carefully balancing the preservation of historic features with the requirements of modern living.
The interior design is contemporary and understated, allowing the original architecture to remain the focus. Rather than competing with the history of the building, the interiors complement it with quiet confidence, comfort and restraint.
The result is an elegant holiday home accommodating up to eight guests, offering a thoughtful balance of heritage, modern living and alpine charm.
